Peter Kinsella has more than 35 years' experience as a journalist and corporate Press and Broadcast relations professional.
Now a freelance writer and media relations adviser, in recent years he has worked in particular in the areas of further and higher education and university research, for organisations including the Learning and Skills Councils and the Economic and Social Research Council.
During a 25-year career in corporate PR, Peter was Head of the British Post Office Headquarters Newsroom and the BT Group Newsroom.
Previously, he was News Editor and Deputy Editor of the award-winning bi-weekly South London Press, and a regular correspondent for national and local print, radio and TV outlets in London and the South-East of England.
An occasional examiner with the National Council for the Training of Journalists, he was closely involved in that body's annual awards scheme throughout the 1990s.
Today, Peter also edits websites for several non-profit making organisations.
Based in Sawbridgeworth, Hertfordshire, he can see 'Beckingham Palace' (home to David and Victoria Beckham) from his office window, so 'the Media' are never far away, and often quite literally on his doorstep.
